Kentucky women’s basketball under Kenny Brooks is a special, special thing.
The Cats took down USC Upstate in a complete effort from start to finish, winning 98-43 in the end. Five players got into double-digits in the scoring column as Clara Strack led the charge with 22 points on 7-11 shooting from the field. Georgia Amoore recorded a double-double with her 11 points and 10 assists on the night.
Clara Silva, Amelia Hassett and Teonni Key had 14 points apiece, shooting a combined 17-25 (4-8 3PT) from the floor. Overall, Kentucky went 35-67 (52%) from the field and 8-27 (30%) from deep.
All around, it was a fun night in Historic Memorial Coliseum.
