WATCH: Georgia releases ‘Tradition’ game trailer for Auburn

WATCH: Georgia releases ‘Tradition’ game trailer for Auburn

We’re all set for the 129th playing of The Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry between Georgia and Auburn. The Bulldogs enter the game ranked No. 5 in the nation and as the 23-point favorite. Auburn is 2-3 on the year and will be playing its first game on the road. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.

Another game means another game trailer from the Georgia video staff. Those is entitled “Tradition” and it’s narrated by Loren Smith. The one-minute, 42-second feature bounces back and forth between distance and recent past while also showing images of days gone by and the Classic City community.

Georgia might be heavily favored over Auburn but Kirby Smart has been adamant about the Tigers being a real threat all week. He points to their tendency to shoot themselves in the foot with turnovers and the potential to get that cleaned up as the reason why.

Focusing on Auburn is how the Bulldogs have moved on from their first regular-season loss since 2020. Unlike Georgia’s previous two losses to Alabama, there’s no extra time to process this one. It’s right back to work.

“I don’t think so,” Smart said earlier this week when asked if he’d do anthing coming off a loss. “I think we have a very set routine here, and we don’t make our routine based on outcomes. So whatever number of wins we’ve had prior to this one, we did the same thing we’re going to do today. And I really believe in that process. I believe in, you know, telling the truth about the opponent, telling the strengths and weaknesses of who you’re about to play, and that you coach every week.”
