Florida State (0-3, 0-2) fell at the hands of #25 Memphis (3-0, 0-0) on Saturday afternoon in Doak Campbell Stadium 20-12 as victory continues to elude the Seminoles.

Afterwards, head coach Mike Norvell was disappointed in the play of his team saying that, “things [that] are critically important to be successful are not showing up.”

“We can’t keep coming into games and seeing things that are not part of us show up.”

Norvell implied that All-ACC tackle Darius Washington sustained an injury during pre-game preparation that led to his absence on Saturday

FSU’s next opponent, Cal, is facing San Diego State on Saturday night.

The Seminoles have started 0-3 for the second time in four seasons.

Florida State added 14 players from the transfer portal and a high school recruiting class that finished 14th in the 2024 cycle. The 2025 early signing period for prep signees begins Wednesday December 4 and closes on December 6.
