Volquest 2-Minute Drill: Key starter to miss Kent State clash?

Volquest 2-Minute Drill: Key starter to miss Kent State clash?

Tennessee will be without a key starter for the game with Kent State on Saturday night. Sophomore offensive tackle Lance Heard will likely go through warmups Saturday night but isn’t expected to play (ankle) sources tell Volquest. Additionally, sources tell Volquest that Heard would be good to go if this was a week from now, but out of precaution Heard will rest up for next week. Tennessee is expected to start Dayne Davis and John Campbell at tackle against the Golden Flash.

True freshman Jordan Ross is also questionable for tonight’s game we are told.

Welcome to the show

True freshman wideouts Mike Matthews and Braylon Staley are back and full go after missing parts of fall camp and the first two games with hamstring pulls.
