Times announced for Kentucky WBB’s two games in Music City Classic
Earlier this month, it was revealed that Kentucky would take a two-day trip to Nashville to compete against Arizona State and Illinois in the Music City Classic. Now, the times for those games have been put out as well.
The ‘Cats will face the Sun Devils on November 26th at 4:30 p.m. EST. Then, they’ll take on the Fighting Illini at 8:00 p.m. EST on the 27th.
The Music City Classic will take place at the Trevecca Trojan Fieldhouse, an arena with a max capacity of 1,500 fans. Dayton, Maryland Eastern Shore and South Dakota are also competing in the Music City Classic.
Kentucky and Arizona State last met on December 11, 2016 — a game in which the ‘Cats fell 73-71 at home. The all-time series is knotted at one apiece between the two programs.
As for Kentucky and Illinois, the Fighting Illini hold a 4-2 all-time series lead. They last met on November 27, 2014 (so it’ll be exactly the 10-year anniversary of the two schools last playing each other), and Kentucky again lost at home, coming away with a 77-71 loss.
Hopefully, under Kenny Brooks, Kentucky can get some sweet revenge down in Nashville.
