After another week of high school football in Texas, the latest rankings have updated to reflect the results from the weekend.

The top six schools in the state have remained the same after wins, but there has been other shakeup down the list — including three new teams in the rankings.

Below are the top 25 teams in state, per the On3 Massey Ratings:

The On3 Massey Ratings, officially used during the BCS era, is a model that ranks sports teams by analyzing game outcomes, strength of schedule and margin of victory. According to the model — four teams from Alabama rank inside the nationwide top 100.

1. Duncanville

Previous: No. 1
Five-star quarterback Keelon Russell continued his early-season onslaught as the Panthers rolled past Skyline 63-14. They’ve now scored more than 100 points combined over the past two weeks and will look to keep that going in a massive showdown with DeSoto on Oct. 11.

2. Atascocita

Previous: No. 2
Atascocita blew past a previously Texas-ranked C.E. King team 54-7 on Thursday night behind a massive performance from running back Tory Blaylock. The Oklahoma-bound star rushed for more than 200 yards and notched six total touchdowns in the rout. A top-10 road matchup with Summer Creek now awaits them on Friday night.

3. North Shore

Previous: No. 3
The Mustangs stayed unblemished with a 42-0 win over previously unbeaten Humble on Thursday night. They’ve now allowed just 16 points across their first four games, proving to be one of the most dominant defenses in the Lone Star State. 3-1 Kingwood hosts them on Thursday, with North Shore predicted to win 46-7 by the On3 Massey Ratings.

4. Southlake Carroll

Previous: No. 4
Southlake Carroll took care of business on Friday, walloping previously unbeaten Timber Creek 44-7. The Dragons are averaging better than 48 points per game across their five wins and will look to keep the streak going against Keller this week.

5. North Crowley

Previous: No. 5
The undefeated Dallas-area squad easily handled winless Mansfield Legacy 56-0 to move to 5-0 on the season. Behind a loaded offensive line with multiple Power 4 prospects, the Panthers are averaging 52.2 points per contest as they head to the back half of their schedule.

6. DeSoto

Previous: No. 6
DeSoto was tested by Waxahachie early, but ultimately pulled away for a 39-24 victory to get their fourth win of the season. A bye week awaits before they face No. 1 Duncanville is an enormous rivalry showdown on October 11.

7. Summer Creek

Previous: No. 8 (+1) 
The Bulldogs bulldozed their first three opponents this season, beating Shadow Creek, Lamar and Spring by a combined score of 156-0. After a bye last weekend, they continued their shutout streak by beating Channelview 59-0. Their biggest test of the year by far comes this weekend when they face No. 2 Atascocita.

8. Westlake

Previous: No. 7 (-1) 
After falling to Atascocita two weeks ago, Westlake got a huge 41-16 win over then-No. 24 Steele. Over the weekend, they were on a bye but will return to the field on Friday against 3-2 Akins.

9. Allen

Previous: No. 9
Allen continued its undefeated start to the season with a 38-14 win over McKinney, using another strong defensive performance to propel them to a victory. They’ll take a bye this week before they face Princeton and Plane West the next two weeks — who are a combined 1-9.

10. Lake Travis

Previous: No. 10
The Cavaliers has been as impressive as anyone early in the season by moving into the top 10. Following wins over Arlington Martin, Legacy, Rockwall, and San Marcos, they rolled previously undefeated Bowie 44-6.
