South Carolina quarterback LaNorris Sellers suffers apparent ankle injury, heads to locker room early

South Carolina quarterback LaNorris Sellers left the field a minute or two early ahead of halftime against LSU, following a tackle that seemed to impact his lower leg.

Sellers initially stayed down on the turf after being tackled, favoring his lower leg. Coach Shane Beamer said he was dealing with an ankle injury.

“It doesn’t help, but we got confidence in Robby Ashford and Davis Beville,” Beamer told ABC sideline reporter Holly Rowe. “You know (Sellers has) got a little bit of an ankle, we’ll go in there and look at it and see where we are.”
