Pregame observations: Michigan vs. USC

• 2:51 p.m. — The Michigan offensive line has taken the field for warmups. Dominick Giudice took the first snap at center, indicating that he will likely start his fourth career game. Greg Crippen has rotated in during two of the three contests so far but has yet to start. Head coach Sherrone Moore said this week that Giudice graded out better against Arkansas State.

• 2:41 p.m. — While Jack Tuttle is listed as questionable, he’s throwing in warmups.

• 2:33 p.m. — With Jordan Marshall out, Michigan kick returners who got reps in warmups were Tavierre Dunlap, Kalel Mullings and Keshaun Harris.

• 1:41 p.m. — Michigan has arrived at the stadium for today’s game.

• 1:40 p.m. — Michigan and USC have released their availability reports ahead of the game. Graduate quarterback Jack Tuttle and junior linebacker Jimmy Rolder are listed as questionable for Michigan. The following Wolverines have been ruled out:
• Senior safety Rod Moore
• Junior tight end Colston Loveland
– Junior safety Jaden Mangham
• Junior linebacker Micah Pollard
• Freshman running back Jordan Marshall
• Sophomore linebacker Jason Hewlett

Series Facts: This will be the 11th meeting between Michigan and USC, and the first meeting as Big Ten opponents. Eight of the previous 10 matchups came in the Rose Bowl with the Trojans holding a 6-2 edge. Michigan won both previous regular-season games in 1957 and ’58. USC won the last meeting between the schools, 32-18, in the 2007 Rose Bowl. The 1958 game at The Big House was a 20-19 Michigan victory.
