Ohio State at Michigan State odds: Early point spread released, How to Watch
Amid all the conference realignment in the Big Ten, a classic showdown between Ohio State and Michigan State is slated for Week 5.
Since 2000, Ohio State has dominated the rivalry with the Spartans, only losing three times to Michigan State in that span, and currently possessing an eight-game winning-streak over their conference rivals. It hasn’t been close in recent seasons either, as the Buckeyes have won each game since 2017 by at least 20 points.
Heading into Week 5, FanDuel believes Ohio State should be feeling themselves next weekend, as they’re currently favored by 24.5 points ahead of their matchup. As of right now, the over/under is set at 49.5 points.
Even with all the change in the Big Ten, Ohio State has remained the top dog in the conference. Many believe the Buckeyes are the best team in the country, and they’ve done nothing to dispel that notion in 2024, even if their competitors haven’t exactly been stout. In Week 4, Ohio State dominated Marshall 49-14 at home.

Meanwhile, Michigan State has been going through some wholesale changes, with the hiring of Jonathan Smith as their new head coach. After three straight wins to open the season, the Spartans went on the road to face Boston College, falling short 23-19.
