News and Notes from Iowa Football Presser
The Iowa football players enjoyed their bye week. Most spent their time over the weekend watching college football games from around the country. But, it’s been back to work in Iowa City with the focus turning to the Ohio State football program.
The Buckeyes are ranked 3rd in the country and are impressive on both sides of the ball. We spoke with Ohio natives Luke Lachey and Kaleb Johnson today about their feelings and emotions heading into this contest. It is particularly interesting from Lachey since he father, Jim, is part of the Buckeyes broadcast team. Johnson also talks about the Buckeye program. Another interesting Iowa player is quarterback Cade McNamara, who led his former school, Michigan, to a win over Ohio State. He talks about that and the work they did during the bye week. Plus we hear from Drew Stevens on his field goal length, Jay Higgins ,and others. Get all the news and notes at the link below.
