NC State football (3-4) kicked off against California (3-3) shortly after 3:30 p.m. ET Saturday afternoon. This is the Wolfpack’s first time playing on the West Coast in decades and the program’s first ever matchup against the Golden Bears.
Both programs are 0-3 in the ACC. Cal started the season 3-0 but has lost its previous 3 matchups by a combined 8 points. NC State lost its Week 7 matchup with Syracuse to finish a 3-game home stand 1-2 going into this cross-country trip.
