Hispanic Heritage Month doesn’t begin until Sept. 15, but Tarrant County will get the party started early with a Latin American flag parade 10 a.m. Sept. 14 at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden.

From charrería to lowriders and ballet folklórico, the celebration of Hispanic Americans and culture will continue across the city.

The Fort Worth Report curated a list of 15 events for residents who want to join the fun.

¡Celebramos! Latin American Flag Parade 
The Fort Worth Botanic Garden kicks off its month of celebration with free admission and a parade, food trucks, live music and a dance party.
When: 10 a.m. Sept. 14

Viva Mexico
Celebrate Mexico’s Independence Day while feasting on cabrito al pastor, drinking in the deals on margaritas and listening to live music (from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.) at the restaurant founded by Juan Ramón Cárdenas.

Fiestas Patrias 2024
Ballet Folklórico, live music and traditional clothing take center stage at this indoor cultural festival.

Mariachi Herencia de México
The band, which has 14 members ages 18-31 and has been nominated for two Latin Grammys, will perform a two-hour set with intermission.

Fiestas Patrias Parade
Pay tribute to Hispanic Heritage Month with a parade down East Exchange Avenue in the Stockyards.

Fuerza Regida–2024 Pero No Te Enamores Tour
Hailing from California, this band made waves when their single “Radicamos en South Central” went viral on YouTube.

México en la Sangre
This two-hour program celebrates charrería, folklórico, live music and caballos bailadores, or dancing horses.

¡Celebramos! Tequila & Margarita Festival
Gather in the grove for a festival dedicated to tequila, margaritas and tacos — all of which are included in the cost of admission.

The 51st annual Hecho en Fort Worth Gala
Celebrate the individuals and businesses who help shape the city at the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s annual event.

Sundance Square Car & Culture Show
The lowrider community will show up and show off their customized cars for this celebration, which also includes food trucks and live music.

¡Celebramos! Latin Dance Festival
Dance instructors who specialize in different genres of Latin dance will teach classes hourly and the evening will culminate in a dance party.

Soy Votante–Networking & Voter Engagement
This nonpartisan event is a collaboration between Hispanic chambers in and around Fort Worth to promote civic engagement.

Third annual Hispanic Heritage Celebration
Salsa At The Gardens, Mariachi Fuzion, Havana NRG and Jay Pérez will all take the stage at this free, family-friendly event.

Los Traileros Del Norte, Salomon Robles y Sus Legendarios and Vittal
Fill your evening with music as three different bands perform in this legendary venue.
