Connor Weigman injury update: Mike Elko details what imaging revealed about Texas A&M QB
Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko shared an injury update on Conner Weigman, revealing good news that the imaging he had on his shoulder didn’t reveal any new problems.
This comes after Weigman was forced to miss Texas A&M’s Week 3 game on the road against the Florida Gators. He had apparently suffered the injury in the season opener against Notre Dame, though he played through the issue, now known to be an AC sprain, in the Aggies’ Week 2 game.
“No updates on the plans for Saturday,” Mike Elko said. “The imaging did turn out good. So, we didn’t find any more problems than we were dealing with. It’s an AC sprain. Everything else is very much in tact. So, we’re just in the process now of recovery and rehab and trying to figure out where he can get himself to. If he’s able to throw it around a little bit today, which is kind of how Wednesdays have gone, and we’ll kind of see what it’s like on the back end of the week as we make our decision for Saturday.”
