Billy Schrauth injury: Update emerges on Notre Dame OL’s status for rest of game vs. Purdue
Notre Dame offensive lineman Billy Schrauth has been ruled out for the remainder of Saturday’s game against Purdue. He left in the first quarter and headed back to the locker room.
CBS’ Jenny Dell reported Schrauth underwent testing in the locker room and returned to the sidelines on crutches. Notre Dame will now turn to Rocco Spindler at right guard for the remainder of the game, according to the depth chart.
“Just an update on Notre Dame right guard Billy Schrauth, who got rolled up on in that first quarter by his teammate. He just spent about 10 minutes in the locker room getting x-rays. He came out, crutches, pads off, boot on his right leg and he’s officially out for this game, guys.”
