Arkansas injury update: Sam Pittman reveals status of multiple Razorbacks for Auburn game

As part of his press conference to start this week, Sam Pittman provided four updates on Razorbacks who have injuries coming into conference play.

Pittman shared the latest on Jaylon Braxton, Addison Nichols, Hudson Clark, and Patrick Kutas for Arkansas on Monday.

Pittman began with Kutas who has dealt with injuries already through two years with them to end last season and start this one. With that, he has already deemed him as out for their offensive line for this weekend at Auburn.

“Well, Kutas will be out,” said Pittman.

Pittman was also negative about the availability of Clark. The sixth-year defensive back is dealing with an injury with his back and would currently be unlikely to appear this weekend on The Plains.

“Hudson? I would put him as doubtful,” said Pittman.

As for the other pair, Pittman felt better about the statuses of Braxton and Nicholls. He expects both will be able to play this weekend on the road against the Tigers.

“You said Braxton? I anticipate Braxton being able to play,” Pittman said

“Nicholls? Nicholls is better today than he was. He’s better today than he was on Thursday of last week,” Pittman said. “We thought he could play. Obviously, he couldn’t. But I would anticipate him being ready to go.”

This is where these four stood as of yesterday in Fayetteville. However, they’ll know more tomorrow and throughout the remainder of the week with the release of the injury report for the ‘Hogs.

“I think that comes out on Wednesday,” said Pittman.
