AJ Henning injury: Northwestern WR carted off field vs. Wisconsin
Northwestern wide receiver AJ Henning was carted off the sideline during the first half of the Wildcats’ matchup against Wisconsin on Saturday.
Henning entered the medical tent on the Northwestern sideline after coming off the field in the first quarter. He missed the next drive before being carted off to the locker room, but was not favoring any part of his body in particular when the broadcast showed him being taken away.
“AJ Henning was in the medical tent and immediately was put on a cart,” Big Ten Network sideline reporter Brooke Fletcher said. “He is being taken back to the locker room right now. It looks like he was uncomfortable, is a great way to describe it. I will keep you updated once I know more.”
Henning did not make a catch before he left the game, but did take one carry for two yards in the first quarter.
