4-star RB Marquise Davis rushes for over 450 yards
Cleveland Heights (Ohio) defeated Euclid (Ohio) 70-27 Saturday afternoon behind an incredible performance from four-star running back Marquise Davis.
Davis rushed for 463 yards and eight touchdowns on 26 carries — all by the end of the third quarter. His eight scores set a school record.
The 5-foot-11, 200-pound Davis was pursued by the likes of Michigan and Ohio State but ultimately committed to Kentucky on May 1. He is the highest-ranked Wildcats pledge in the 2025 On300.
Davis is the nation’s No. 184 overall prospect in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is the No. 14 running back and No. 7 recruit from Ohio.
On3 ranks Davis No. 136 nationally and No. 8 among tailbacks in the On300.
Cleveland Heights improved to 5-4 on the year with the blowout win. In addition to Euclid, the Tigers have wins against Trotwood-Madison, Brunswick, River Rouge (Mich.) and Medina. They have lost to King (Mich.), Hudson, Mentor and Strongsville.
To close out the year, Cleveland Heights will play Shaker Heights next Saturday. Shaker Heights is home to five-star Oregon defensive back commit Trey McNutt.
