Following his most recent visit to Florida State on Saturday, four-star interior offensive lineman and FSU commit Peyton Joseph has announced he is no longer considering other schools.

“I have officially shut down my recruitment; I’m a ‘Nole,” Joseph told On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

According to the On3 Industry Ranking, the 6-foot-3, 280-pound lineman is a top-200 prospect nationally, as well as the 13th-best player at his position.

It is interesting to note that Joseph’s final two teams before making a commitment were Florida State and Memphis.

While some might have expected Joseph to second-guess his decision after the Tigers beat the Seminoles, 20-12, on Saturday, he has been vocal on social media about sticking with FSU.

Joseph actually has posted his support of Florida State on social media after every loss during this season’s tough start.

Joseph committed to Florida State in July. The Seminoles were actually the second school he committed to, as his original pledge was to the Florida Gators. His cousin, TJ Ferguson, then joined the Seminoles via the transfer portal, causing him to take a weeklong visit to Tallahassee over spring break.

After that, it became clear the ‘Noles were the team to beat in his recruitment.
