3-star SF Aaron Womack commits to Syracuse

3-star SF Aaron Womack commits to Syracuse

Aaron Womack, a three-star small forward in the class of 2025, has committed to Syracuse and head coach Adrian Autry, he told On3.

The 6-foot-5 senior sharpshooter attends Dominican High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In addition to the Orange, Womack also received offers from UW-Milwaukee, Murray State, UIC, Buffalo, Illinois State, Southern Utah, and UW-Green Bay.

Womack becomes Syracuse’s second commitment in the 2025 class, joining four-star PF Sadiq White (No. 24 nationally).

Womack is currently unranked nationally but is rated as a three-star prospect.

Womack on his commitment to Syracuse

Aaron Womack discussed his decision to choose ‘Cuse with On3.

“I had a good feeling about the school once I got down there,” he said. “Everyone there was so welcoming and respectful towards me and my family. The offense felt like a system I could be successful in. I believe Syracuse will be able to develop me into a better player and a better man. The fans there brought so much energy to the game and I bet it gets even crazier for basketball.”

What led to his trust in the coaching staff?

“I always wanted to play on a high level and every coach there believes I can. I felt a connection with all of the staff they had there including the women’s coach. What makes me trust them is that they showed me broken down film and stats of what I was good at and also how I could improve. Coach Autry and the staff see so much potential in me and I trust that they will be able to coach and teach me so much.”

In his own words, what type of player is Syracuse getting in Womack?

“I would say I like to play fast, shoot 3s, and just find ways to score, even playing the passing lanes on defense. I would describe my game as a shooter and play an all-around game. I can use my length and athleticism to block shots and get up for dunks.”

He has a message for ‘Cuse fans.

“Syracuse fans better get their season tickets early. It’s time to get back and make a deep run in the tournament. I will give it my all to help the team in whatever way I can.”
