Tennessee fans, Neyland security continue fight over goalposts in stands
Police in Knoxville are trying their hardest to make sure the Neyland Stadium goal posts do not end up in the Tennessee River. Beating Alabama is always a cause for celebration for Tennessee, doing so for the second time in three years on Saturday. A repeat of 2022 is not wanted though as tasers have been factored into the equation.
The war has moved into the stands as fans and security officials continue to fight over the goal post. A few people are attempting to get it up the stairs and presumably out of the stadium. In a video, you can see police attempting to get people away.
All of this in the middle of cigar smoke, another sign of a win on The Third Saturday of October. Tennessee fans want to relive the celebration from two years ago but are currently in a battle.
