KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – No. 7 Alabama (5-1, 2-1 SEC) will take on No. 11 Tennessee (5-1, 2-1) at Neyland Stadium this afternoon. The game will kick off at 2:45 p.m. CT on ABC.
This year’s Third Saturday in October rivalry game will mark the 107th all-time meeting between these two programs. The Crimson Tide owns a 60-38-8 advantage, including a 27-21-1 mark in Knoxville. Alabama came out on top, 34-20, in the most recent meeting on Oct. 21, 2023, while the Vols claimed a 52-49 win in 2022, the last time the teams played in Knoxville.
The Crimson Tide has won 16 of the last 17 matchups with the Volunteers, with the only loss coming in 2022. Alabama has not lost back-to-back games in Knoxville since 2004 and 2006 and has not fallen to Tennessee in consecutive games at any location since 2003-04.
