Taylen Green injury update: Arkansas QB heads to locker room in 4th quarter vs. Tennessee
In the fourth quarter of Saturday’s game against Tennessee, Arkansas QB Taylen Green took a major hit and suffered a left knee injury. He tried to come back in the game, but later headed to the locker room.
ABC’s Holly Rowe reported Green was not likely to return despite re-entering the game at one point. That means it will likely be Malachi Singleton’s show the rest of the way as Arkansas looks to keep the Tennessee offense at bay.
“Arkansas quarterback Taylen Green has just come out of the injury tent,” Rowe said on the ABC broadcast. “He came down the offensive line, to all of the players and said, ‘Go finish this.’ They have taken him back to the locker room with that left knee injury. It does not look like he’ll return.”
