Bru McCoy, Dont’e Thornton injury updates: Latest on Tennessee WRs vs. Arkansas

Bru McCoy, Dont’e Thornton injury updates: Latest on Tennessee WRs vs. Arkansas

In the second half of Saturday’s game against Arkansas, Tennessee saw multiple wide receivers leave with injuries. Bru McCoy and Dont’e Thornton both headed to the sideline in the third quarter, and updates emerged on both.

ABC’s Holly Rowe reported McCoy was treated for a wrist injury before going back in the game. As for Thornton, he appeared to be nursing a knee injury and his status didn’t look as promising the rest of the way.

“Bru McCoy is back out there,” Rowe said. “They have heavily taped his right wrist, and then they put a glove over the hand and taped two of his fingers together. But he can go in on this play. Dont’e Thornton, though, he keeps holding the top of his right knee. He does not look probable at this time.”
