Former Michigan staffer Connor Stalions is expected to become an employee at Barstool Sports after the high school football season, Dan ‘Big Cat’ Katz revealed.

Stalions is currently serving as a volunteer coach at Detroit Mumford High School in Michigan, and has a “couple of months before I figure out my next move,” he told Katz. He offered to be an intern, he said.

Stalions has appeared on Barstool airwaves in the past, including recently during the 2024 college football season. It’s unclear what capacity Stalions is expected to work with the outlet, but it does appear that he’ll be working alongside some of the fan favorites over there.

Of course, Stalions made headlines over the last few weeks after not only starring in his very own Netflix special on the ‘Untold’ series, but also served as the interim head coach of his high school team for a game. They notably lost 60-0, but it appears to be the beginning of what Stalions is hoping is a long career in the industry.

That is, after the NCAA is finished investigation the Michigan Wolverines and his role in the sign-stealing debacle that ultimately cost Stalions his position with the program. Perhaps one day he could make a return to Ann Arbor.

“I hope,” Stalions said, via CBS Sports. “I get a lot of support from various people about eventually bringing me back [to Michigan].”

Stalions can’t return to Michigan immediately though, according to CBS Sports’ Dennis Dodd’s breakdown.

“At the end of the documentary ‘Sign Stealer,’ a three- to five-year show-cause penalty for Stalions is mentioned but not substantiated,” he wrote. “And the NCAA certainly isn’t commenting further in one of the most compelling enforcement cases in the history of the organization.”

Not only that, don’t expect a resolution until perhaps the spring.

“Two sources familiar with the details of the current NCAA investigation told CBS Sports not to expect a verdict from the NCAA on the sign-stealing investigation until perhaps next spring,” Dodd wrote. “Former Michigan assistants Jesse Minter and Denard Robinson are reportedly expected to cooperate with the NCAA before then in a negotiated resolution. Minter is the defensive coordinator of the Los Angeles Chargers. Robinson’s time with Michigan ended in the spring; he was arrested for allegedly operation a vehicle while intoxicated in April

“At this point, Stalions and his team of lawyers seem poised to go through the full enforcement process.”

In the meantime, he seems to be a welcome addition to the Barstool family.
