Report: NC State DE Red Hibbler plans to enter NCAA Transfer Portal

NC State’s Red Hibbler plans to enter his name into the NCAA Transfer Portal.

ESPN’s Pete Thamel shared the report on the Wolfpack defensive end on Thursday morning.

“NC State defensive end Red Hibbler (@jykeveous) plans to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal, his agents Adie von Gontard and Noah Reisenfeld of Young Money APAA Sports tell ESPN,” Thamel tweeted. “Hibbler led NC State in sacks last season with 6.5. He’ll have one year of eligibility remaining.”

Hibbler was no longer listed on NC State’s roster just over a week ago. A spokesperson then confirmed that he wasn’t part of the team anymore.
