Christian Watson injury update: NFL insider shares latest on Packers WR’s ankle

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson just received good news about his ankle injury. According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, Watson has a mild ankle sprain and is “unlikely” to land on injured reserve.

The news comes after Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said that Watson will be “out a week or so” after suffering the injury during Sunday’s game against the Minneosta Vikings. Watson’s injury happened during the second quarter when his leg got caught underneath him while attempting to catch a Jordan Love pass that was intercepted by Vikings linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill.
