Carson Hocevar slams Chase Briscoe on radio after Stage 3 wreck at Kansas

Carson Hocevar went for a spin on Lap 235 in Stage 3 of Sunday’s Round of 12 opener at Kansas.

While it’s unclear what caused Hocevar to spin, he has an idea. In his eyes, it was all Chase Briscoe’s fault.

“I didn’t hit anything. Just Chase Briscoe fu*king sucks,” Hocevar said over his radio, via Matt Weaver of Sportsnaut. “He did the same thing to the 8 [Kyle Busch].”

As Hocevar mentioned, it was Briscoe who was partly at fault for Busch’s spin while leading the race with 32 laps to go. With Busch looking to hold off Ross Chastain, Busch went high into Turn 2 attempting to pass Briscoe, who was a lap down at the time. Briscoe didn’t give him much room, and Busch got loose.

Hocevar clearly feels Briscoe did something to similar to him, thus ruining his day. The Spire Motorsports driver finished 32nd, his worst finish since a P33 result at Darlington earlier this month.
