Hurricane Helene: Greg Biffle, Hendrick and Joe Gibbs helicopters aiding recovery efforts in North Carolina
With the heart of NASCAR country being devastated by flooding as a result of Hurricane Helene, help is on the way. It appears that helicopters belonging to Greg Biffle, Hendrick Motorsports, and Joe Gibbs Racing are assisting with recovery efforts.
Greg Biffle is working with YouTuber Garret Mitchell, AKA, Cleetus McFarland. The storms that pushed up into the Appalachia region produced intense flooding. There were also landslides that have left highways destroyed and towns isolated.
Bozi Tatarevic, a writer and pit crew member in IMSA, noticed the helicopters flying around North Carolina earlier this evening. It is great to see the efforts being made by Gibbs, Hendrick, and Biffle. There will be extensive recovery efforts after Hurricane Helene’s path of destruction.
