Wolverine TV: Game clips of Top 100 Michigan WR commit Andrew Marsh

The Wolverine’s EJ Holland was in Houston last week seeing Top 100 Katy (Texas) Jordan wide receiver and Michigan commit Andrew Marsh in game action.

Watch highlights from Marsh’s performance in the video at the end of the story.

Marsh Recruitment

Marsh notched an offer from Michigan back in January of last year and immediately became a priority for the Wolverines.

U-M wide receivers coach Ron Bellamy built a strong relationship with Marsh throughout the process and was able to get him on campus just a few months later. Marsh visited Michigan three times this summer, including for his official visit for Victors Weekend in late June.

It was there where Michigan began to trend on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. Marsh returned to Ann Arbor for the BBQ at The Big House in July, which only helped the Wolverines with their momentum in this race.

Marsh ultimately committed to Michigan last month over fellow finalists Colorado, Texas, USC and Washington.

Here is what Holland had to say about Marsh.

“Marsh is one of the best in the air receivers in the country,” Holland said. “He’s only listed at about 6-foot or 6-foot and a half, but he plays much bigger than his size. Marsh makes a lot of contested catches on film. It’s not really a 50-50 ball when Marsh is in the air. He plays extremely physical and literally runs people over. The biggest knock on him is speed, but he has enough of it and makes plenty of plays after the catch. He is the highest rated wide receiver commit for Michigan since, I believe, Darrius Clemons.”

Michigan now has 16 commits in its 2025 recruiting class — Marsh, Top 100 Center Valley (Pa.) Southern Lehigh tight end Andrew Olesh, Top 100 Winter Garden (Fla.) West Orange safety Ivan Taylor, Top 100 Washington (D.C.) Gonzaga defensive back Kainoa Winston, On300 Fort Myers (Fla.) Bishop Verot quarterback Carter Smith, On300 Alpharetta (Ga.) High EDGE Julius Holly, On300 Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy running back Donovan Johnson, On300 Kilgore (Texas) High cornerback Jayden Sanders, four-star New Orleans (La.) Archbishop Shaw wide receiver Jacob Washington, four-star Palatine (Ill.) High EDGE Jaylen Williams, four-star Birmingham (Mich.) Groves offensive lineman Avery Gach, four-star Howell (Mich.) High defensive lineman Bobby Kanka, three-star New Orleans (La.) Archbishop Shaw running back Jasper Parker, three-star Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy offensive lineman Kaden Strayhorn, three-star Stockbridge (Ga.) High linebacker Chase Taylor and three-star Alcoa (Tenn.) High tight end Eli Owens.

The class entered the day ranked No. 14 nationally and No. 3 in the Big Ten, per the On3 Industry national team recruiting rankings. The Wolverines currently sit behind Ohio State and Oregon.
