Where Tennessee Football is ranked in the updated Associated Press Top 25, Coaches Poll

Tennessee Football on Sunday came in at No. 4 in the updated Coaches Poll, moving up two spots from last week’s ranking. The Associated Press Top 25 has not yet been updated.

The Vols (4-0), coming off the first bye week of the season, go to Arkansas (3-2) Saturday night for a 7:30 p.m. Eastern Time start in Fayetteville. The game will be televised by ABC.

Ole Miss was ranked No. 5 in last week’s Coach’s Poll, but was upset Saturday in a 20-17 home loss against unranked Kentucky. The Rebels were ranked No. 6 in the AP Top 25 last week, one spot behind Tennessee.

Georgia was the No. 1 team in last week’s Coaches Poll and was ranked No. 2 in the AP Top 25. The Bulldogs lost 41-34 in a thriller at Alabama Saturday night, coming back from down 28-0 to lead 34-33 with just over two minutes left before the Crimson Tide answered.

Alabama was ranked No. 4 in both polls last week.

After the trip to Arkansas, Tennessee returns home for four home games over a five-week stretch, hosting Florida (October 12), Alabama (October 19), Kentucky (November 2) and Mississippi State (November 9) with a second bye week set for October 26.
