Rebel Wilson and her partner Ramona Agruma are now married.

The Australian actor tied the knot with the fashion designer on Saturday, September 28, on the Italian island of Sardinia, unnamed sources told People.

Wilson did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Business Insider, which was sent outside regular working hours.

A newspaper planned on outing Wilson days before she went public about her sexuality in 2022

The 44-year-old actor and Agruma, 40, share a daughter named Royce Lillian Elizabeth, whom they announced they had via surrogate in November 2022.

Wilson, best known for her scene-stealing roles in “Pitch Perfect” and “Bridesmaids,” announced her romance with Agruma in June 2022.

Before dating Agruma, Wilson’s last publicly known relationship was with Jacob Bush, a member of the Anheuser-Busch family, per Forbes. Wilson and Bush ended their relationship in 2021.

Arguma, who is the founder and lead designer of Lemon Limon, a sustainable fashion brand based in Los Angeles, first appeared on Wilson’s Instagram a few months before the relationship was confirmed.

“I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince… but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess,” Wilson captioned a selfie of the pair cuddled up to one another.

Two days after the post was shared, The Sydney Morning Herald gossip columnist Andrew Hornery wrote in a since-deleted article that he had been planning to break the news of Wilson’s same-sex relationship, as Business Insider previously reported.

He said the outlet had emailed the actor’s representatives to give a heads-up out of “an abundance of caution and respect” but that Wilson had “opted to gazump” the piece by making the Instagram announcement.

Following widespread backlash, Hornery apologized in a follow-up article for attempting to out the actor before she was ready to address her sexuality.

Wilson and Agruma got engaged on Valentine’s Day 2023, a few months after welcoming their daughter. Wilson shared two photos from the engagement in an Instagram post.

Writing in her 2024 memoir, “Rebel Rising,” the actor described how she proposed.

“Ramona sees the pastel rose petals all over the ground and the roses in vases,” she wrote, via People. “I tell her how special she is to me. And then I get down on one knee and open the ring box. I end with, ‘So in this cliché way, on this cliché day, Ramona Agruma, will you marry me?’ ‘Yes,’ she says through the tears streaming down her face.”
