Newsstand: What is the spread for the Notre Dame vs. Louisville game?
According to Vegas oddsmakers, Notre Dame has a good chance to avenge last season’s loss to Louisville in its rematch with the Cardinals on Saturday.
On Sunday, Circa Sports debuted the No. 16 Fighting Irish (3-1) as a 5-point favorite against the No. 15 Cardinals (3-0). The over/under points total is 48½.
Notre Dame is 2-2, including 0-2 at home, against the spread this season. The “under” has hit in every game except when the Irish posted 66 points against Purdue on Sept. 14.
Meanwhile, Louisville is 3-0 against the spread and has exceeded the points total in all but one game. The Cardinals finished seven points from going “over” the 56.5-point total in their 31-19 victory over Georgia Tech on Saturday.
This Saturday’s game kicks off at 3:30 p.m. on NBC.
