Howard Williams is currently the No. 21 overall player in the 2027 On3 top 50. The 6-foot-6 small forward averaged 16.9 points and 8.3 rebounds this summer playing with the Mean Streets program on Nike’s E15 Circuit.

“I feel I can do anything on the court,” Williams told On3. “I can get to the basket well, I can shoot the three. My IQ has raised this summer, I’m watching more film and seeing the game better.”

This summer, the four-star small forward transferred to Mouth of Wilson (VA) Oak Hill Academy, a part of Nike’s EYBL Scholastic Circuit.

“A lot of why I cam is that I’m playing against the best competition and getting better every day here,” Williams said.

On3 caught up with Howard Williams after a recent live viewing to discuss the latest in his recruitment.

“Right now, I have offers from Illinois, South Carolina State, and NIU,” Williams said. “I haven’t been able to go on any visits yet.”

ILLINOIS: “They have a really good coach, a tough coach. Morez Johnson is my dog, he just went there. I haven’t been to the facility or anything yet, but I know it’s a great school. I’m from there, so that offer meant everything, to get that opportunity.”

“LSU and Arkansas are some other schools that are recruiting me,” Williams said.

“As I start to go through this process, I am going to be looking at the environment and the community,” Williams said. “I’m going to look at how they interact with people, the players, and most importantly I want to get a good vibe from the coaches.”
