The Ole Miss Rebels (3-0) are off to a scorching hot start in the 2024 campaign. They look the part of a team that many expected to not only contend for a spot in the College Football Playoff, but the National Championship. Through their first three games, the Rebels have outscored their opponents by a total of 168 points to 9. Ole Miss has Georgia Southern up next, and they gave their fans something else to be excited about on Thursday night, when they unveiled their uniforms for this weekend.

Ole Miss has dominated their overmatched competition early, much like a potential CFP contender should. They humbled and humiliated Furman, 76-0. And they made easy work of MTSU, whipping them to the tune of a 52-3 beatdown.

Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart is one of the best players in America at his position. He’s certainly looked that way early on this year and the Utah native is a big reason why many people picked the Rebels to make a College Football Playoff appearance this season.

In their first game against Furman, Dart was near flawless, completing 22 of 27 passes for 418 yards, while tossing in five touchdowns with no interceptions. In the second game against MTSU, he completed 25 of 27 passes for 377 yards, while tossing in a touchdown with no interceptions. Dart also had a rushing touchdown in both games.

Ole Miss receiver Tre Harris hauled in eight catches for 179 yards and two touchdowns against the Paladins. Tight end Caden Prieskorn was penciled in for a big year this year by many, and he delivered in the first game, too. He hauled in three catches for 77 yards and a touchdown.

On the ground against Furman, Ole Miss rolled up 243 rushing yards and four touchdowns. As a team, the Rebels outgained the Paladins in offensive yardage by an insane margin: 772 yards to 172 yards.

Against Wake Forest, the Rebels made easy work of the Demon Deacons, cruising to a 40-6 beatdown. Jaxson Dart threw for 377 yards, while tossing in two touchdowns and one interception. Henry Parrish Jr. had 133 rushing yards and two touchdowns. And star receiver Tre Harris hauled in 10 catches for 94 yards. Wake only made two field goals in the first half, while being held scoreless in the second half.

Ole Miss will look to keep things rolling as they face off against Georgia Southern on Saturday. That one is slated for 7:45 PM EST and the game will be nationally televised on SEC Network.
