Top 25 recruit Keeley Parks sets in-state official visit

Keeley Parks, a four-star prospect and the No. 25 recruit in the Class of 2025, is taking an official visit to Oklahoma this weekend, a source told On3.

“I have a pretty good relationship with coach Mike Neal,” Keeley Parks told On3 in a previous interview. “He’s a family friend of ours who used to coach with my dad, so we have a pretty good relationship. Since OU is like 5 minutes away from me, I’ve been there a lot – whether it was practices or just catching up. I love how supportive they are of me, and especially coach Jennie Baranczyk. The whole staff is really fun to be around.”

The 5-foot-11 point guard from Norman (Oklahoma) High School has recently visited several high-level programs, including UCLA, Baylor, North Carolina and Oklahoma State

“I just want a really good culture and somewhere where it feels like home,” Keeley Parks told On3 in a previous interview. “Where it feels like the coaches are my parents, the style of play, [somewhere where] I’ll get there and play right away.”

Keeley Parks is a ‘big-time 3-point shooter’

Keeley Parks is widely regarded as one of the best uncommitted prospects in the class.

“She’s a big-time 3-point shooter,” one coach involved in her recruitment told On3. “Parks is a super dynamic scorer when paired with a facilitating guard. She’s a scorer first, playmaker second, and an excellent help-side defender. Parks takes a lot of risks defensively and is very instinctive.”

Another aspect of her game that she relies on is her emotions in-game. She prides herself on staying calm and even-keeled as a player.

“My game is really calm and smooth,” Parks said. “I feel like I don’t get too high or too low – kind of even-keeled. I want to work on my post moves and showing more personality on the court, just talking more.”
