Newsstand: Michigan makes top four for 2025 four-star PF Kareem Stagg
Tweets Of The Day
Michigan has made the final four for 2025 Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy four-star power forward Kareem Stagg, along with Georgia, Houston and Oklahoma State.
Stagg has taken official visits to Michigan and Georgia and will see Oklahoma State Sept. 20 and Houston Oct. 4.
“Michigan was great. Their culture is what stood out and how I fit in their system. Their guys gel well together with an amazing staff.”
Earlier this summer, Kareem Stagg was noted as a standout at the NBPA Top-100 Camp, according to On3’s Jamie Shaw.
“Stagg is a physical presence with a lot of burst. In past viewings, his output has been inconsistent, and the production was fluid here as well. However, he shot the ball well, which makes things intriguing. It will be interesting to see if he continues this trend, with his size, length, and pop, an added jump shot opens up more for Stagg.”
The NFL’s leader in receiving yards (Nico Collins, 252) and sacks (Aidan Hutchinson, 5.5) are former Michigan players. Jake Moody, meanwhile, is tied third in the league with 7 made field goals.

Quote Of The Day
“I just think the execution and the detail of execution and what our players do really well is where we’re at, right? When you have a new staff, new players, it’s not the same crew… I think Sark said something about 46 of the players out of the 70 that got on the bus for [last year vs.] Alabama, whatever game, were the same guy. They were an older team. So for us, I think you just got to make sure you stay the course and continue to develop the guys, and I think you’ll start seeing guys’ improvement, and they’ll get better throughout the year. That’s my goal every game is can we get better each week, and hopefully by the end of the season you have a finished product, but I don’t want to peak too soon. I know everybody wants to, but we have to get better each week.”
— Michigan defensive backs coach LaMar Morgan
