Plus: Texas volleyball falls to Stanford

Texas Longhorns backup quarterback Arch Manning set at least part of the college football world on fire when he replaced starter Quinn Ewers following a rib injury in this past Saturday’s win over UTSA. That included a 67-yard rushing touchdown by Manning.

However, Arch’s uncles, Peyton and Eli, weren’t known for their speed. Better yet, they were known for their lack of.

Arch’s dad, Cooper Manning, played wide receiver at Ole Miss before retiring early due to a back issue.

After the UTSA win, Arch’s dad joke on Instagram that his son “definitely got his speed from mom.”
