“Lance Jackson is one of the premier “first off the bus” prospects in the 2025 cycle. He has excellent weight distribution throughout his frame and looks to be a lean 270 as a high school senior. Primarily, he lines up as a defensive end and tight end for his high school. He’s an effective edge setter with his size and strength, shows good initial quickness, and has length that shows up in implementing a straight arm move. He transfers his physicality as a tight end over to the defensive side as well, walking offensive tackles back to the quarterback. Ultimately, he may outgrow the EDGE position given his current size, but would be one of the more athletic defensive linemen in the class as well.”

Jumbo athlete with a large frame, good athleticism and positional versatility. Measured in at 6-foot-5.25, 270 pounds at the On3 Elite Series prior to his senior season. Has plus length with 34-inch arms to go with 10-inch hands. One of the premier “first off the bus” prospects in the 2025 cycle. Excellent weight distribution throughout his frame and looks to be a lean 270. Lines up as a defensive end and tight end for his high school. An effective edge setter with his size and strength. Shows good initial quickness. Length shows up in implementing a straight arm move. Has the capability to walk offensive tackles back to the quarterback. Shows his athleticism as a tight end, with the ability to stretch the seam. Physical as a blocker. May outgrow EDGE given his current size. If he becomes a defensive lineman, will need to work on his pad level. Will benefit from focus on defense once he gets to college.

Pleasant Grove football coach Josh Gibson doesn’t hold back when describing Lance Jackson. “Lance is the total package,” he said. “He possesses freakish athletic ability but has an elite work ethic and drive to go with his God-given talents. Very few young men work as hard as Lance does.” Jackson’s older brother, Landon, was a captain at Arkansas, and Gibson said the brothers have the same mentality when it comes to improving their games. “Lance has a growth mindset and works relentlessly on his weaknesses,” Gibson said. “It is for these reasons that I truly believe he will have the same impact in college as Landon had at Arkansas.” In 2022, Jackson finished with 63 tackles, 11.5 for loss, two sacks and a pair of pass breakups. He was named a first-team all-district selection in 2022 and 2023.
