Joe Burrow turns heads with pre-game fit ahead of matchup vs. Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs
Look good, play good. On Sunday, quarterback Joe Burrow rolled up to Arrowhead Stadium in all black for his Cincinnati Bengals’ AFC showdown against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Bengals need Burrow to have a massive game after they fell to the New England Patriots in Week 1.
It’s not the first time Joe Burrow’s fashion choices have made headlines this year. Burrow turned heads when he arrived at the Bengals’ fall camp with a buzzcut and bleached hair.
In June, Burrow made an appearance at Paris Fashion Week, along with his former LSU teammate Justin Jefferson. At the prestigious event, Burrow was part of a panel called “The Rapid Evolution of Athletes as Brand Builders.”
Now, Bengals fans can only hope Burrow finds success on the field as well. In Week 1, Burrow only recorded 164 passing yards and failed to record a touchdown. He finished the game with a 55.2 quarterback rating.
Burrow has a lot to prove in Week 2, especially considering his history against the Chiefs. Burrow won his first three games against the Chiefs in the NFL, including a victory over them in the AFC Championship. However, the Chiefs have defeated the Bengals in their last two meetings.

Bengals CB Cam Taylor-Britt criticizes Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy
Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt seems to not believe the hype around Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy. While speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Taylor-Britt was asked what Worthy brings to the Chiefs offense.
“Speed. That’s about it,” Taylor-Britt said, via Caleb Noe of WPCO. “He can run straight. Run jet sweeps and just run straight. He can’t do too much else, so that’s about it. I feel like if you put your hands on him, he’s only a hundred-some pounds, so if you put hands on him, you’re gonna stop his speed, so basically get your hands on him.”
Taylor-Britt made the comments after Worthy caught two passes for 47 yards and one touchdown, while also rushing for 21 yards on one carrier in the Chiefs’ 27-20 victory over the Baltimore Ravens last Thursday.
