Tate Ratledge injury update: ESPN broadcast gives latest on Georgia OL

Georgia suffered a major blow to the offensive line in the second quarter against Kentucky, as offensive lineman Tate Ratledge left the game with an injury. He was ultimately ruled out, according to the broadcast.

Shortly after leaving the injury tent, he was seen leaving the field on a cart, headed to the locker room.

Ratledge reportedly has a pair of injuries, to the left knee and ankle, respectively, according to ESPN sideline reporter Molly McGrath. Ratledge apparently had his shoe off as he rode on the cart.

“I’m told he has a left ankle and a left knee injury and he is ruled out for the rest of the game,” McGrath said. “So they’re going to have to play without one of their most consistent offensive linemen.”

This story will be updated.
