Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown injury update: Update emerges on Chiefs WR status for 2024 season

Kansas City Chiefs receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown is not expected to play in the 2024 regular season, according to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Brown was placed on injured reserved Friday for a shoulder injury that will require surgery. There is still a chance that he could return for the postseason, but he is not expected back before mid-January.

Brown suffered the injury in the first preseason game for the Chiefs on Aug. 10. He was set to enter his first season with the team after signing a one-year contract worth $7 million this offseason.
