Miami reveals new kickoff time for game vs. Ball State after weather delay

After a more than two-hour weather delay, a new kick time has been given for Saturday’s game between Miami and Ball State. The game will now start at 5:55 p.m. ET after it was originally scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. ET, the Hurricanes reported via X.

Lightning was spotted near Hard Rock Stadium will less than 30 minutes until kickoff, prompting the delay. A restart time of 4:45 p.m. ET was later given before lightning was again spotted and that time was pushed back.

Miami is looking to start off the season 3-0. The Hurricanes are coming off of a dominant 56-9 victory against Florida A&M in Week 2.
