2025 WR Lebron Hill decommits from Purdue

Hammond (Ind.) Morton Senior three-star wide receiver Lebron Hill has decommitted from Purdue, he announced on social media this evening.

Hill initially flipped from Louisville to Purdue on June 25. He had been part of the Boilermakers’ 2025 recruiting class ever since.

“After a long conversation with my family and coaches, I’ve decided to decommit from the University of Purdue,” Hill wrote in a statement. “This wasn’t an easy decision. I love for the entire staff; it genuinely felt like home. I just want to personally thank Purdue for all they have done. (Recruitment is 100% open)”

The 6-foot-4, 185-pound Hill is the nation’s No. 858 overall prospect, No. 135 wide receiver and No. 15 recruit from Indiana in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

“I think Purdue will be successful because they’re building something special,” Hill told On3 when he flipped to Purdue in June. “They’re a really good coaching staff and people are gonna see that real soon.”
